Tim Noakesmith is a serial entrepreneur, design professional, educator and the co-founder of VOW, a future-focused food company that uses the latest biotechnology to create new foods by using animal cells but not the animal. The future of VOW is a house of brands that produces cultivated meat products that combine the best attributes of a wide range of different cell types both traditional and non-traditional.

Before launching VOW, Noakesmith was most recently the global Human Centred Design Lead for Cochlear, where he was responsible for ensuring the needs of 400,000+ Cochlear implant recipients were at the core of the organisation’s strategy, product development and design, while working within tight regulatory med-tech frameworks. He has held a number of senior roles in user experience design, service design and product strategy spanning a diverse range of industries and technologies, including Blockchain payments, national communications infrastructure and some of the world’s most recognisable FMCG brands.
